The Top 5 Online Gaming Experiences

In a few of my more recent posts I have talked a lot about Online gaming and so I decided I would make a T5. The list will cover only the current online experiences available. So here is the Top 5 Online Gaming Experiences.

#5) PS2 Online(free)

Ok, I must admit the service is pretty much no good. Someone had to make the list though right? The service had a few games that were good online and even more that were not. It really has no balance, it is pretty much the game is great online or no good at all. This is why it found itself at the bottom of the list.

#4) Wii Online(free)

The service the Wii offers online is very original, but no where near the tops of the list. Whether you are messing with trading Mii's or you are just playing games it is a very reliable and stable service that has to be recognized by the general public. This service is free.

#3)PSN(free)

The Playstation Network gets better everyday especially with the much anticipated Home arriving very soon. This is an online service that can much make a challenge for the second spot on the list in the future with their consistent updates and good content. It may be middle of the pack but it is certainly outdoing its predecessor. This service is free.

#2) Xbox Live(paid gold)

This one goes without saying, it is at least second. Xbox Live offers great content whether your getting the latest map for your game or just an episode of your favorite tv show. Xbox Live also offers a great experience in game, if you have ever played Halo online you know what I am talking about.

#1) PC Online Gaming(free)

The number one on the list has to be PC gaming. It is just excellant in every form of the word. You can modify your game and then go play online with the mod, it just isn't as easy to do this on a console. The gameplay on PC is just amazing and it can be rivaled by non, you have to try it to believe it. Best of all, this service is absolutely free.

So there you go, the Top 5 online gaming experiences.

The Top 5 Reasons To Leave Iraq

The Iraq war has been going on for some time now, and quite frankly it disgusts me. I support our troops completely and as whole heartedly as you can, but here is the Top 5 reasons why should be leaving Iraq.

#5) It is a Distraction To Real Threats

The Iraq war is a complete and utter distraction. I keep waking up every day hoping that the Bush Administration will have woken up and realized that there isn't and never will be Al-Qaeda in Iraq. The members of Al-Qaeda are probably not as stupid as we take them to be, Al-Qaeda isn't in Iraq because we are! It is as simple as that. The real threat of the world is Korea and Pakistan, not the poor Iraqi's.

#4) Accomplished The Original Goals Set Out

So far in the war the Bush Administration has claimed a lot of goals in Iraq --like removing their evil dictator-- we have accomplished all but one of these claimed goals, Iraq's Liberation, and so why do we not end this war. The Iraqi's continue to have opportunities to hold democratic elections and have democratic officers, yet they refuse them and just elect the same old people from their last regime.

#3) Iraq Liberation Will Not Happen In the Near Future

Iraqi's are still living in fear even years after Saddam's fall, women still have to fear leaving their house. The people of Iraq will probably tell you themselves that their economy before the war was much better, and even though non of them were rich, they could at least survive. Where as now they are without water, gasoline, propane, or any other essential living need. This is another reason to leave Iraq, we are only doing more damage to their economy by staying. You cannot say people are liberated if they are working 3 jobs and scared to leave their homes.

#2) National Debt

With each passing month now the national debt raises in the billions each month--estimated over $12 billion a month now-- and is predicted to cost us over $3 trillion by the time we finally get completely out in around 2017-2020, and those are considered conservative numbers! We cannot continue to spend this much money and expect to have any economy at all left here in the future. We must leave Iraq before the cost of the war sends us into another depression!

#1) Deathtoll

Currently the official death total in Iraq has surpassed the 4,000 mark, and thats just what the government tells us, and the injuries sustained estimated right around 30,000. We cannot afford to put more people in harms way for a lost cause, it will only make people sad and angry. This is the reasons we should be leaving Iraq.

There you have it, the Top 5 reasons to leave Iraq.

The Top 5 Ways To Spend A Dollar

I have decided today that it would be interesting to go over a list of 5 ways to spend a dollar. Here are the Top 5 Ways To Spend A Dollar.

#5) Lottery Ticket

While I am not a big advocate of gambling, the lottery ticket is not a bad investment. Thousands of people every year win large sums of money when they only bought one lottery ticket--for one dollar.

#4) McDonalds/Wendy's $1 Items

I thought this one was a little bit obvious, but I decided it probably deserved a spot on the list. Even though neither of their dollar foods are great, they are decent, and cheap too. Wendy's is a lot better than McDonald's when it comes to food, all the way around the menu, this holds true on the dollar menu. While this will probably only make you more likely to be fat and have a heart attack--you get a decent value, and quick service.

#3) Arcades

Cheap thrill that does not cost a lot, but you will not get to play for too long.
The arcades are a great place to step into when you have a dollar and you're passing by. Even though a dollar will only get you probably 10 plays of ski-ball or 2 races in a simulator, you can have a bit of fun, and the arcades are a great place for anyone to hang out with their friends.

#2) Soda, Candy, or Snacks

Another all too popular one, which goes without saying. Drinks are always nice, they cool you off in the summer. Candy isn't really a seasonal thing, and everyone loves candy... everyone--don't even deny it. Snacks, you can get one of those 99c bags of chips from a quick stop or just pick up a cupcake.

#1) Donate It To Charity

Have a dollar? Give it to your local church, donate it to a politician, or donate it to the red cross. The idea here is simple, if you give back to the world--the world will give back to you. Give the money to your church during a service, the church will thank you, and the church may return the favor. If you want to make a difference just in America, you could give your money to a local or state politician in an effort to change the social matters of our country. You will probably say, 'a dollar will not do anything'. If everyone who could donated $1 to a charity did, then that charity would have no problems fixing some major issues oversees.

So there you have them, the Top 5 Most obvious ways to spend a dollar. The ideas expressed were all too familiar to just about all of you I would guess. That is the glory of the list though, you know what to expect! Ty for reading.

The Top 5 Reasons to Connect to The Internetwork

I have decided it was important that you understood the Top 5 reasons to connect to the internet. The internet is a great place filled with great things and you should understand why your lucky to be connected!

#5) You Get To Go To Digg

Ok, Digg is one of the best websites on the entire internet. Out of the millions of websites. You get to read news articles and stay up to date with the latest in technology. Digg is an all around great site and everyone should check it out.

#4) Communicate Via The Internet

The internet brings people of all cultures together. You get to talk with people from all over the world. You can get on bulletin boards and talk to people you will never see in your life. Stay in touch with your family or talk to a friend down the street.

#3) Play Games

Highscores, if your tired of owning every highscore on your offline game you can go online and see what other people have gotten.

The Top 5 Reasons You Should Not Troll

I have decided that this would be a pretty popular, yet fun list to write. So here you go.

#5) Run Visitors Off

Most of these boards that you can post comments on have a high amount of unique visitors every day. Most of these unique visitors are people you should want to stay and come back. These people help support the website and keep topics hot.

#4) You Cannot See Others Comments

Whenever someone gets on a board and randomly starts shouting "sony sucks" or "nintendo sucks" it makes it harder to figure out who is commenting on what. Comments are already hard enough to understand, do not make it any harder.

#3) Respect Others Opinions because They Will Not Change

You should always respect another posters opinion. Just because you feel a certain way about a subject does not mean they should necessarily feel that way. No one is going to change their opinion to someone who is rude and being unfair about something anyways. A rule of thumb is to ignore anyone who cannot say more than a negative comment.

#2) People Are More Responsive To Polite Comments

throughout a board, just take a look, you are more likely to get a positive and thoughtful response from someone who has been reading a nice comment other than the jerk who posted "Microsoft sucks" 30 times. It also makes the community look better, people will not troll a board or website in order to ruin a communities reputation most of the time. They are looking to run off anyone who does not share there point of view. Which in essence will eventually get back to a person who does share their point, but would rather not be in a community filled with trolls.

#1) It is Annoying

The obvious one, it is so annoying to post a long comment that had a lot of thought in it and someone to come out with a response like "sony sucks". Does that not make you feel like you just wasted half an hour typing for no reason. It is also annoying in general to just have to read "Nintendo sucks" 30 times.

These are strictly my reasons that you should not troll. You may not agree and the list may be missing a reasons you think is more important, think you have a better idea? Leave a comment I am more than happy to discuss it.

The Top 5 Reasons to Be A Geek

#5) You Know The Latest Tech

It does pay to be a geek. When you get a job you can actually point people in a reliable direction. I go to Walmart and 9 times out of 10 I am way better off not to ask an employee a question than if I do.

#4) You Get Better Jobs

Let's face it 90% of the geeks in the world will get better jobs than the guy on the High School football team. It does pay off to be into math after all.

#3) You Get To Love Being A Geek

Ever wonder why every geek takes such pride in being a geek? Being a geek is not easy, you have to know the latest tech and learn the best chess openenings. Once your a geek and you have it down good you can flaunt it, chicks love a guy who knows what he's talking about.

#2) Geek Speak

Yes there's a club. No actually there isn't a club, but you do earn the right to understand what the geek next to you is talking about. That is half the battle. Most of the people who won't talk to a geek are intimidated because they fear they will not understand them.

#1) Geeks Make The Internet Work

Almost everything you cross on the internet was probably created by a geek. Almost every website, in fact one of the few exceptions is blogs because of how easy they are to manage. Digg is overrun with people just as geeky as you and me! Is that not the greatest thing! If your not a geek you probably aren't reading this and you probably don't have a website.

Top 5 Reasons You Should Vote

Here is a list I have compiled of the best reasons for someone to vote.

#5) You live In The US

If you live in a country that is based of democracy would it not go against every reason for living in a country if you just lay over during election time and not vote. I am sure there are plenty of countries that leave you no say. If you move there at least someone who wants democracy may get it.

#4) The Feeling If You Do Not Vote

Once the election is all over with and candidate x wins and then he/she goes out and totally tanks the country would you not feel bad for not voicing your opinion. Even if 1 vote cannot change an election, surely it can change your outlook after it.

#3) Why Even Have an Election

If one single vote is not heard in my opinion, the entire election is void. How can you necessarily say that any candidate won any state unless every single person eligible voted. That is like saying I bought a hot dog, but they only gave me the bun, and I am ok with that.

#2) Taxation Without Representation

The entire basis for why this country was made. You are taxing yourself for no reason, part of the reason we pay taxes is to pay for the Representatives we put into office. Is this not an injustice that you are only bringing upon yourself.

#1) You Should Want To Vote

You should want to have your voice heard. You should want to have that power and ability, and you should use that power and ability. It should make you feel good to be standing at the polls knowing that no matter what happens you could not change it. That is a good feeling to have. So this year if you do not vote, just remember that you cannot complain.
