The Top 5 Reasons Spore Will Be Game Of The Year

Spore is a promising game that looks to change the look of the entire game industry. If you have not heard of this game, you will. I have already wrote 1 article over it and you can find that Here. I love the look of this game, and if you like the Sims you will likely be interested in this one too. Here are your top 5 reasons Spore will be the game of the year.

#5) Sellability

Normally you will not factor in the sellability of a game too much when considering honors of game of the year, but this is a different type of game. The game offers something for everyone big or small, young or old. The gameplay just looks fun, especially when you start to realize that you get to make the game. People will flock to this game, and normally when a game sells well it will be more publicized for game of the year.

#4) Large Amount Of Material

Spore offers years of gameplay and it will keep you entertained for a long time. Whether you are building a universe or a single town, or just a creature, you will have too much to work with. The game offers the ability to build towns, universes, creaturs, whatever it is you just name it. The game also allows for modifications, like all pc games, to create different species and the likes.

#3) Entertainment

With such a vast amount of things to do, you will always be entertained. Tired of working on a house? Live in it. Tired of building the cars? Drive them. Did you make some characters? Go fight with them. Did you build several planets? Populate them. I promise with this game there will be fun for hours and hours and hours and... you get the point.

#2) Innovasion

No game ever created before this one has offered such a large amount of things to do. The game will bring an entire new look towards video games, suddenly developers will be looking deeper into what they make--saying "well what extra can we do here". This game takes development to a whole new level, with so many processes at once and so many different things to do. Spore from a technical standpoint allows you to develop your own species from the ground up, basically you get to decide how the species evolves, how they live, where they live, add weapons, and much more. Your character will begin out as a tiny cell and you will build up the species from there.

#1) Online Play? Say What?

Thats right, this game doesn't stop just at the end of your imagination... the game just begins with your imagination. The game will feature online play(kind of), the online capabilities allow you to access other players databases of creatures, planets, or whatever. This feature will make the game extremely versatile and will be a big selling point come this fall.

For some reason the digg button only works in the seperate article... so if you want to Digg this make sure you are reading it on the seperate page instead of the main page.

The Top 5 Reasons To Switch to PC Gaming

Here are the top 5 reasons I believe you should be switching to PC Gaming. The reasons in order of least importance to most importance!

#5) Cheaper

When you go out and buy a PC to use for gaming you are really taking out two birds with one stone. In todays world a PC is almost a mandatory thing. When you buy a PC for gaming and general use you are actually saving yourself a few dollars, heres why. In order to build a gaming PC the only thing you really need extra is a video card. Most computers built today have plenty of RAM and plenty of processing power. A good video card that will last you a few years is probably going to cost you around $150. You do not necessarily need a real fancy video card though because PC games have a wide range of available Screen Resolutions and video card settings. Game consoles are expensive and paying an extra $150 to your PC or paying $400 for a console should be a no brainer, you save $250.

#4) Computers Longevity

Computers last forever, most PC's last for about 5-10 years and if you buy a good video card you probably will not have to buy a new one for at least 4 years. New game consoles are released about every 3-5 years and so you can assume to keep up with the industry you will be buying a new card to support new graphics every 4 years. Figuring that your computer has a PCI Express 16x slot that should be good for at least the next 10 years and in which case you can update your card every time you need to till then.

#3) The PC Has a Huge Games Library

The Pc has a load of games and most of these games are games you will find on other systems. A lot of times if a game is good on a console it goes to the PC eventually anyways. You see a lot of games on PC that you cannot find on consoles, the civilizations and the Starcrafts of the world. There is something for everyone on PC and most of these games are flexible enough to work with most graphics cards.

#2) Online Play

The PC has such good online play. It is not just for individual games either, most games you play that have online capability have a really good online service. Not only do you get the excellant online service you also have modified levels and items that you cannot get on a console. You do not have to pay for this excellant service where as on xbox live you will pay, but PSN and Nintendo's online service are also free.

#1) Modifications

The great thing about PC games is that they're incredibly easy to mod. Mods to games makes them a lot better. You never run out of content and there are mods for every game! These mods can be used online or for personal use. If you do not like the way something works, you just change it. Mods make everything more fun, but you cannot get these as easily on your console due to how hard it is to change and program for. The Modifications to all the PC games makes them my #1 reason to switch to PC gaming.
