This section will feature games that are set out to be released at any point during 2008 (even games that have already been released this year). This section will consist of what I like to call "anticipation posts", these posts will list out the "top 5" just like normal and will include one "what to look for" item. We make these posts in order to try and anticipate the best of something for a year, in this case it will be video games. At the end of the year we will revisit this post and make the correction as needed to see what turned out to be the best games of the year. Enjoy.

#3) Halo Wars

I like the Halo series, but there is a lot of people who are absolutely insane for this franchise. Halo Wars is sure to be a hit, hell I could make a game and put Halo in its title and it would sell. Halo is possibly the best selling game franchise of all time and this one is sure to sell. Taking place before the original "Halo" Halo Wars promises non-stop action. From what I understand it will be a rather short storyline though, but who cares when they online play sounds absolutely incredible.
