The Top 5 Things GTA IV Lacks
We all know there is a ton--wait, no-- two tons of things that GTA IV lacks. A part from a didgeridoo, which should be in every video game, it lacked some serious features that every GTA lover would hope for. Here are the top 5 features I missed.
#5) Eco-Friendly Cars
After playing GTA IV for several hours, I determined that the cars in the game are not what I would call "eco-friendly". In fact, a few of the cars are so bad off that you can taste the tail pipe when you start the car. The people of Liberty City really need to start moving in the direction of bio-fuels, or I will lose interest in their game.
#4) Zombies
Everyone knows that a massive zombie outbreak could happen any day, and that zombies are already everywhere they can be. If a game lacks zombies, does it not lack real world credibility? It was an unfortunate turn of events and I hope they fix it if there is a GTA V.
#3) Choose Your Own Path
Most choose your own path games add a great variable that just wasn't created with GTA IV. You had one constant, you always follow the same set path--the user cannot alter it at all. With a choose your own path you could become good or take out your boss. Who knows, but at at least it would add some flexibility and depth to the game.
#2) Accessible Buildings
I am tired of fake buildings, why don't you just carve out an empty map rockstar? Seriously, the buildings are fake--no stores, no restraunts, and no Microsoft? Are you kidding me? You take years to develope a game and all you can do is make a select few buildings accessible? I want to be walking through a mall taking no prisoners. Or I may want to stop in a pizza parlor and grab a bite to eat.
#1) Interactive Life
Most people would argue that this would ruin the game. So I would suggest that if it was added, that it be optional. You should have an interactive life-- a girl friend, kids, and a job-- These are variables. Say you get tired of running errands for the boss, you can go get a job. You could have a girl friend, probably with GTA you could abuse her, kill her--whatever. A dependent would be optional, because I think kids truly would ruin the entire plot.
There is a lot more features that are missing, but I do not think some of them are completely necessary. If GTA plans to survive though, it better add something new to 5 that will make me more likely to buy it.
