If you are a highschool or college student a blog is a great way to keep your writing skill in check. You do not have to post daily but you should post at least a couple times a week. Writing is not for everyone, but if you enjoy it then maybe a blog is for you.

If you're always on the move and your family cannot get a hold of you than a blog is a great way to communicate with your family. You can post your images and write about your daily life. In fact, I would suggest you write about all genres.

Unlike those pesky websites which can be tedious to mess with and hard to advertise, there is a lot of people who do nothing but provide a search for a blog. Websites have a lot of things involved that the average user just does not understand, in the blog world there are wizards that handle everything.

The best part about blogging is that people you do not know get to read what you write and react to it. I love it when I write an article and someone emails me telling me how they loved the article and that they look forward to returning.


In the end though it is purely up to you, but I would advise that you are at least prepared to work hard in order to upkeep. What makes the good blogs good is that they are reliable, they consistently provide content on a day to day basis.
